Waterbury Chorale has Their First Rehearsal!

Hi everyone,

The Waterbury Chorale had their first rehearsal for the 2013-2014 Season!  The first rehearsal was a great kick-off to what is sure to be an amazing concert season.  There was a short introduction made by Joseph J. Jacovino Jr. (our director), then we did some warm-up exercises, went through some of the beautiful pieces that we will be featuring in the Christmas on the Green Concert in December, and then had a short social hour at the end of the rehearsal to catch up with members we didn't get to talk to throughout the Summer months.

We still have available spots open, especially in the tenor and bass sections, so if you know anyone interested in singing with us, please have them join us at the United Methodist Church in Watertown on Monday evenings from 7:00 to 9:30 PM.

Here are just a few of the pictures I took during our first rehearsal.

Fulton American Band Concert

Hello all,

The Fulton American Band Concert was a great success!  The crowd that gathered at the WAMS Courtyard enjoyed the amazing performances by both the band and the a cappella group.  The evening was beautiful ... thank God the rain held off!  Here are just a few of the pictures that I took during the concert.  Enjoy!

Joseph J. Jacovino Jr. directs the Fulton American Band during the first half of the concert.

The Barber Shop a cappella group The Waterbury Valley Chordsmen entertained the crowd during the band's intermission.
